about us

Calvary Chapel Cincinnati is a church in Fairfield, Ohio with a vision to see people know Jesus, follow Jesus, and live for Jesus.  We exist to shine the light of the gospel into a world blinded by sin that all might discover the promise of life and liberty that is in Christ Jesus.

Brian Hill

Senior Pastor

Born and raised in a small town in Western New York, Brian understood hardship and hard work from a young age due to a difficult upbringing.  As he grew into adulthood, he enjoyed a successful business career that led Brian to quickly climb the corporate ladder, which culminated in 2012.  That year, the Lord called Brian and his young family to Cincinnati as he was promoted to a VP of a Fortune 500 Company.  Brian had attended Calvary Chapel in NY for several years and made getting plugged into CC Cincinnati an early priority.

While continuing to serve in various roles at CC Cincinnati, everything from sound ministry to teaching teenagers, Brian was told by God in 2015 that he would one day be a pastor full-time for the Lord.  "I had no ambitions or plans to be a pastor.  I was very successful in my business career.  However I've learned there is no better place to be than the center of God's will, no matter how challenging it may seem!"

In 2018 Brian answered the call to resign from his corporate career and become Calvary Chapel Cincinnati's Senior Pastor.  "I've never once regretted or looked back on my business career.  The Lord used it to prepare me and humble me to serve Him and His people."

Brian has been married to his wife Kim for 16 wonderful years and they have 2 amazing kids.

Luigi Cosenza

Assistant Pastor

Luigi, a first-generation Italian American, was born in Santa Barbara, California. Raised by "old school" immigrant parents, he quickly learned the importance of sacrifice, hard work, devotion, and family. As a young man, he embraced these values and married his high school sweetheart, Ruby, becoming a father to a daughter and a son while still in his teenage years.

In 1994, Luigi and Ruby faced marital challenges that led them to surrender their lives to the Lord Jesus Christ. Over the years, their family grew and flourished as they committed themselves to serving the Lord through various ministries, including home fellowships, children's ministries, and outreach to the homeless.

In 1999, Luigi was called to serve as an Assistant Pastor at Calvary Chapel Palm Springs. His ministry expanded to include leadership of the High School Youth Group and chaplaincy at the Indio Juvenile Hall Detention Center.

However, in 2002, Luigi faced a challenging period when he temporarily stepped down from ministry due to personal struggles. This difficult road back was marked by lessons in God's forgiveness, grace, mercy, restoration, and love. It was a period of spiritual growth and transformation.

Today, Luigi and Ruby are humbly dedicated to serving the Lord and their community. Their journey together has been blessed, and they recently celebrated their 37th wedding anniversary. They take joy in their two wonderful adult children and cherish their role as grandparents to three beautiful grandchildren.
